Study tip #12 is probably too obvious to mention, but if your last exam happens to be a 24 hour take home exam, it's a bad idea to work on it all day, get it 2/3 finished, and put it aside to cavort and drink alcohol and do other unhealthy things and then wake up at 4 in the morning, put the finishing touches on it, and turn it in at 8:30 AM when it is due. The fact that it is your birthday is no excuse. Finish the exam, then party. This explains my other bad grade first semester of 1L year.

That's funny. I have done that before. I always have had an exam on my birthday. This year, luckily, my last exam is three days before my birthday...
