in the Detroit Airport that is fabulous: like a serene, cool, ambient, time-pausing installation. And then a fantastic fountain with water plumes that leap in arcs like a pod of dolphins. I wrote a lot about it in my journal on the plane -- what an unexpected delight. But don't have time now to do more than tell you that it was lovely.
I was a lawyer once, well, I still am one, your enthusiasm is heartwarming, I had it once, but now I'm cynical. I wish I still had your enthusiasm for the law.
On the other hand, I did some good, and you can too.
Never sell your soul to anyone. [Its hard if you intend to have clients].
I like your site and I like you, take it from an "old man" [still young at 46, at least to me], you can do good in this world, don't let anyone prove otherwise.
I wish you luck in your endeavors with the law, there will be disappointments, but keep your chin up kid, you've got what it takes.

I've got to add a little more, a couple of blogs down someone told you to pay attention to "office politics".
Thats bulls**t.
Live your life, don't dwell with the gossip mongers, do your own thing and don't get caught up in the things that don't matter.
Life is too short.
Aim high and do good, no matter what else happens if you do good, all the rest is peripheral.
