A client just forwarded along a draft of a document for my review. The first change I made was to change "Pubic Auction" to "Public Auction." Heh heh heh.

ROFL!
One time I had a client call me up and ask, "UCL, what in the sam hell is this thing I got in the mail!? A motion to squash garnishment?"
To this day I wonder why we don't just call them motions to squash garnishment, instead of motions to quash.

I once received a campaign leaflet in the mail making the same mistake (Democrat, in case you're wondering). Something like "The pubic health is a critical element of my platform." I'll bet. I voted for him anyway, but I regretted not sending it to one of those late night TV shows...
