To mark the occasion of my 1500th post, I think I'm going to do 15 things I've learned since I began this blog. It's going to take a little while, because each of the things I've learned is worthy of its own post, at least, perhaps with some supporting documentation from the archives. I just sat down with a little index card and wrote down the lessons I think I've learned over the past 18 months or so. This is what I wrote down, ordered as they came to me. There are only 10 so far, and maybe these will change. But they're what came out. If for some reason I don't think of five more, I'll throw in my five favorite posts, or my five favorite blogs, or something good to make it to 15.
What I've learned:
- Time flies.
- I like risk.
- I am not my job.
- I make friends.
- I am a writer.
- People are kind.
- Things go wrong.
- I bounce back.
- Goals are fun.
- I reach people.
It's interesting to see what people come up with when they reflect. This is a wonderful, healthy list. And I enjoy your blog. :)
