It's too soon to say, but I have a fluttery feeling in my stomach. There was touching. There were kisses. She might be the next big thing in my life. She's a boxer mix. Who would have thought I would be interested in a boxer? She might have a little bit of lab in her. She's smart, and energetic, and sweet.
I'm going to see her again tomorrow. I'm really excited about it. I'm going to bring her some treats. We're going to go for a long walk in the woods. We're going to gaze into one another's eyes. We might engage in some heavy petting.
Aaaaw. So cute.

That's a dangerous joint to be hanging out in. I started a long-term relationship there when I was in high school; we stayed in touch periodically after I went off to college, but she was usually a bit frosty towards me then.

Excellent! I took a drink of tea and almost lost it when I read the last line... ;-)

It is a dangerous joint to be hanging out in! I met my fellow there - he nibbled the buttons off my sweater and I was smitten. I took him right home and haven't once regretted it...

Your mom said that the boxer resemebled my Holly and gosh, she does! Just adding my 2 cents here....Holly is 5 yr. old, we've had her since 6 weeks. Mom was a Boxer, Dad a white lab.
I have to say...over many years of having dogs, Holly is THEE most incredible dog I've ever had. Smart, affectionate, intelligent, giving and filled with love. Even the vet told me when she was a pup, "A boxer mix is one of the best breeds." I can't agree more. She doesn't have a mean bone in her body, yet she's an excellent watch dog. Gets along famously with 3 cats and our new puppy. And I know I'll never, ever, have another one like her!
Wishing you all the best if you choose this boxer.

I have absolutely fallen in love with the boxer breed. My friend has one that I got to dogsit for over a long weekend and that dog was one of the best! Good luck on the second date.
