Sherry, What can you say about the role and purpose of comments in your blog. You usually elicit numerous responses, which is great because you know you are reaching people and having an impact. But sometimes the comments seem to cross a line. How do they affect what you write about, how you feel about your writing, and you in general?

How do you deal with arguing with people you're close to? On the one hand, you seem too mature to get into big fights; on the other, you seem too sincere about your values and beliefs to be able to let disagreements where they may be coming into play just go by without comment.
