An ongoing topic of conversation between me and Paranoid Co-Worker, as well as the other Young Turks of the local bankruptcy bar whenever we get together, is the Celebrity Crush. It came up last night as we drank martinis and gossipped and generally got stupid, with predictable results ("Jennifer Connely," "Colin Farrell," "Dennis Quaid").
Whenever this comes up I like to turn the conversation to a subcategory, which is the Embarrassing Celebrity Crush. Except Paranoid Co-Worker totally refuses to play, naming perfectly acceptable celebrities and pretending they are embarrassing. That's crap. Jon Bon Jovi is simply not embarrassing.
So it was a great relief to find this thread over at A Small Victory. Some folks out there are not afraid to speak up.
My Embarrassing Celebrity Crush: Sammy Hagar. Yours?
Sorry, I don't crush on celebrities. Although when I found out that Felicity Huffman (from Sports Night) was playing an evil Republican on The West Wing and being given stunning dialogue and good dresses, there was an almost erotic urge to start watching the show again.
