A while ago I asked folks to tell me whether they'd give up their dog or their blog first. It was a pretty nearly unanimous groundswell of support for dogs. Now my best friend is tromping around Montana with a baby (not her own) and a dog (her own), and is discovering that people's responses to each differ.
