Yesterday a client came by with a homemade cheesecake for me. Today a client came in and we were meeting with the Big Guy about the next steps in a matter we're working on and the client talked at length about how good and responsive I've been to work with. The Big Guy was gracious in both his praise of me and his reassurance that the matter would move to an attorney with more talent and experience than I have. He's so good that way, somehow tactful and frank at the same time. Just one of the many ways he is talented as a lawyer.
I'm in the process of tying up those loose ends I can and writing out information on those things that will need to be tended by others in the firm. I made a list of the clients I want to send a card to, just to thank them for the opportunity to work with them and learn from them. It is a strange process, bittersweet to be sure.
Hi! Just wondering if you leave a contact for clients when you send the card. Or no?
